I am a Registered Representative with Patrick Capital Markets and has over 40 years of sales and capital markets experience. I’ve spent the majority of my career as Senior Vice President of Sales for CNL Investment Company where I was instrumental in growing the firm’s private placement and real estate investment trust (REIT) business.

 I recently joined Petra Capital Properties to help expand the company’s 1031 Exchange / Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) platform with a specific focus on philanthropy. I specialize in asset based philanthropic solutions for donor-based charities, endowments, planned giving, and other non-profit organizations.

I apply my extensive real estate investment background to educate financial professionals about the unique benefits a Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) and how investor-donors can reposition highly appreciated real estate holdings into diversified and passive income solutions.

I am also a 1965 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps following graduation. I served with the Third Marine Division in Vietnam.
